Acadian Total Security, a division of Acadian Companies, is currently seeking candidates for an Alarm Dispatcher I.  This position will be responsible for handling high priority signals, as well as specialized alerts and phones for Acadian Total Security.


  • Handle fire, panic, medical and burg alarms
  • Handle supervisory and industrial alarms
  • Answer incoming calls from alarm dealers and their customers
  • Answer incoming calls from companies we serve as an answering service for after hours
  • Place alarm systems in test at the request of dealers and end users
  • Contact on call technicians for those end users who require assistance
  • Provide instructions for end users who have simple equipment questions
  • Handle special projects and dealer/end user issues specifically requested by the alarm center manager
  • Assist the alarm center any time there is a natural disaster or other emergency


  • Basic computer skills 
  • Problem solving abilities 
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Two years customer service experience required
  • High school diploma or GED required
